SYSTRAs arbete att utöka Paris tunnelbana ger goda resultat!
Linje 12 som kör 15 km från norra Paris till södra Paris har nu fått 2 nya stationer; Aimé Césaire och Mairie d’ Aubervilliers.
Utökningen innebär att 330 000 boende i förorterna når tågstation Saint-Lazare i centrala Paris på 20 minuter. Avgång sker var 130:e sekund under rusningstid.
RATP räknar med att välkomna mer än 40 000 ytterligare passagerare per dag. Så småningom kommer den nya terminalen att ansluta till linje 15 på Grand Paris Express.
SYSTRAs uppdragsledare Guillaume Chapponnais beskriver uppdraget:
“The extension of line 12 is a complex project because of the technical challenges involved in its construction. It has prompted us to innovate and rethink our working methods, in an extremely dense urban environment, while trying to limit the nuisance to local residents as much as possible. The result is a structuring extension in the heart of Greater Paris, two stations, including the largest in the capital’s metro system, and the use of unprecedented techniques.”
