SYSTRA, the world no.2 for Mass Transit and Rail, now ranks among the Top 50 global engineering firms
On 12 December, the American magazine ENR (Engineering News-Record) published its annual list of the largest engineering companies worldwide and by market sector. SYSTRA has improved its position in the three key rankings for its fields of business.
- Mass Transit and Rail international*: SYSTRA was up one place to second position, taking a clear lead over the rest of the pack (+50% compared to the third-placed company), thereby consolidating its position as an international rail specialist.
- Bridges International Design Firms: SYSTRA figured on the list of the 25 largest bridge engineering companies for the first time, taking 14th place.
- Top 150 global design firms: SYSTRA now ranks among the 50 largest engineering firms in the world, coming in in 47th place (up eight places compared to 2015).
“We improved our rankings in three key categories for 2016. This positive development reflects the growth momentum the SYSTRA group is currently experiencing and confirms our leading position as a rail specialist in the collective mobility sector”, commented Pierre Verzat, SYSTRA’s Chief Executive Officer.
The lists are compiled on the basis of the companies’ reported annual revenue for the previous year. These are the most widely recognised rankings for the global engineering market.
